Dear Bob Wills Fan,

Have we got a treat for you!  For the next several weeks, we will be airing one of the best collections of audio history

on Bob Wills and his Texas Playboys ever produced!  If you ever wished for a thorough, entertaining, history of Bob Wills

life and career, the development of Western Swing, complete with interviews with those who knew and played with him,

well known musicians, together with recorded performances of Bob Wills famous and not-so-famous-but-interesting music,

you don't need to "wish" anymore!  This is it!

Based on Dr. Charles Townsend's book SAN ANTONIO ROSE, written by Lawson Warren and Hugh Cherry (narrator),

THE BOB WILLS STORY originally was released on cassette tapes in 1981.  I was not aware of its existence until

I acquired the box set recently and am delighted to present it on Bob Wills Radio in the weeks ahead.

So go to www.bobwills.com/radio

right now and give this second installment a listen!

Bob Wills is STILL the KING,

Dwight Adair
